Easy way to Measure a Radius (rounded corner):

Simply place a carpenter's square (two rulers will work too!) against  the curved outside corner of your spa. The distance from point X (where curve starts) to Y (the crotch of your square) = Radius.

NOTE: The length of the curve itself is not the radius.  Measure on the square.

TIP: Don't have a square? Make one from a piece of stiff cardboard.

How to Measure a Radius Corner

PLEASE USE THE FOLLOWING TO HELP DETERMINE YOUR SPA COVER SIZE:

Do you want a cover that just covers the acrylic shell or one whose skirt overlaps the wood cabinet? These are 2 different styles of spa cover, and each requires its own set of measurements. Knowing which one you are wanting will help you include all the measurements we need to build a cover that fits properly.

Before You Start

  • Measure in INCHES ONLY!
  • It is a good idea to measure both your spa and your old cover before submitting dimensions.
  • Provide both your measured dimensions and the manufacturer and model of your spa.
  • Hinge / fold direction is easy to overlook, please indicate on your order form otherwise we will assume that it is not critical and put it where we feel it is best. Ask yourself, "How do I want my cover to fold?"

Determine the Style

Do you want a cover that just covers the acrylic shell or one whose skirt overlaps the wood cabinet? These are 2 different styles of spa cover, and each requires its own set of measurements. Knowing which one you are wanting will help you include all the measurements we need to build a cover that fits properly.

Remember to use measurements corresponding to the style of cover you would like.

1. Determine the letter that matches the shape of your spa or hot tub.

2. Note how you must measure the tub.

3. Insure that fold direction Is correct. Dotted line or measurement #2 represents the standard fold. The #2 measurement WILL be broken for the fold.

4. If you know the tub make and model we can look up the manufacturers recommended cover size.
